Who is responsible

Zahib Hussain, selling personally and trading as Ring Almanac, is the data controller for personal data processed to provide this website and membership. Bank payment data is processed by GoCardless as our payment processor under its own privacy notice; we never see or store your bank login details.

Data and purposes

We process account identifiers, email addresses, sign-in information and any name supplied by your sign-in provider to create accounts and authenticate you. Membership identifiers, subscription status and billing-period dates are used to manage access. Boxing questions and saved conversations are stored for your account so you can return to them. Support messages and order references are used to handle enquiries.

Device and browser information, IP addresses, request logs and error information may be processed for reliable operation, security and fraud prevention. Favourite selections and recent viewing identifiers are stored locally on your device per account; we do not store protected stream URLs in that history.

Our legal bases are performance of the service contract for accounts, membership and saved conversations; legitimate interests for security, reliability and support; legal obligations for required records; and consent where optional processing requires it.

Sharing and international processing

Data is shared as needed with service providers, including Lovable Cloud for hosting and account services, Bunny for video delivery, and AI processing providers for submitted boxing questions. GoCardless and your bank receive data needed to process payments, prevent fraud and meet financial regulations. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive data where legally necessary. We do not sell personal data.

Providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK or EEA. Where legally required, transfers use applicable adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

Account data and saved conversations are kept while needed to provide your account; they are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to legal obligations and necessary security or dispute records. Subscription records are retained as needed to manage access and comply with applicable recordkeeping duties. Device-local favourites and viewing history remain until cleared on that device. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and account-scoped access controls; no online service is completely risk-free.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies or browser storage support sign-in, account sessions and local preferences. Video and payment providers may use storage needed to deliver their services. You can clear or block storage in your browser settings, although sign-in and playback may stop working. Optional analytics or marketing cookies, if introduced, require any consent mandated by law.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. UK and EEA residents may complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Applicable GDPR requests are normally answered within one month, subject to lawful extensions. Send website account and privacy requests to Zeez12426@gmail.com.
